Grand Marais is tucked between the coast of Lake Superior and the rugged hills and bluffs of northern Minnesota. Tourists from every state and dozens of countries flock to Grand Marais during Minnesota's short summer to take in the beauty of Lake Superior, truly the greatest of the great lakes.
Lake Superior has more water than the other four great lakes combined (with two lake Erie's to spare).
